Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Fontenot to make the kick off. Dorival Moura made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Federico Maia sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorival Moura. That made the score 0-6 after 54 minutes of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Federico Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmos Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Fontenot came free, but Dorival Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Patrick Fontenot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dorival Moura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to MAGNIFICOS.FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nilton Berger hit a great ball. Nicky Cavazos, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Patrick Fontenot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Patrick Fontenot notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of MAGNIFICOS.FC's Dorival Moura. Dorival Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
