Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Morientes in the 35th minute of the match. Cosmos Soccer Club were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Fesport FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Grant McKay took the corner. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Macias to make the kick off.
