After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Hector Totakoxe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarrett Rosenberg should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goalkeeper Ivan Karmel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Maia. Ivan Karmel was a little too slow when Patrick Fontenot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 37th minute, Federico Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Fontenot made a kick off. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Argoitz in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Patrick Fontenot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Damaso Isidor kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Patrick Fontenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Maia in the 70th minute of play. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Argoitz in the 73rd minute of play. Damaso Isidor hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Robustiano Amor charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Amor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CA Quake booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Isidor in the 85th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
