The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CA Quake's Ivan Karmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Giöck in the 3rd minute of play. Sixten Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Karmel having to interfere. Bertil Skarkman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CA Quake's Bartolo Remicio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Flinck in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Karmel saved CA Quake from getting behind. A collision led to CA Quake getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Teodoro Azevedo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Åström in the 16th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Ivan Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Quake's Damaso Isidor got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Digital Monsterz FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teodoro Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sixten Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digital Monsterz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute of the match Digital Monsterz FC got a corner. CA Quake's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivar Berglund ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Digital Monsterz FC's corner Sixten Åström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Karmel quite easily take care of the ball. Bertil Skarkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Isidor in the 25th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on CA Quake's corner Hector Totakoxe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bertil Skarkman quite easily take care of the ball. Damaso Isidor charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Isidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Isidor. 48 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Flinck came free, but Ivan Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some careless play in the Digital Monsterz FC defense, Melquiades Argoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Skarkman. The Digital Monsterz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Skarkman should have stopped the shot. Bertil Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute CA Quake were awarded a corner. Hector Totakoxe went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Damaso Isidor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 61 played minutes Digital Monsterz FC got a freekick which was hit by Evert Zachrisson. After a defensive mix-up in Digital Monsterz FC's zone, Melquiades Argoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Skarkman came out of the goal and Melquiades Argoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Digital Monsterz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Backman to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Azevedo. Eddie Flinck took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Karmel. Ivan Karmel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. CA Quake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Skarkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Digital Monsterz FC's Bertil Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Remicio in the 82nd minute of play. Bartolo Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Karmel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddie Flinck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 90 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
