The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdomiro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmo Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Valdomiro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dalmo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wanderson Ceresso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Melquiades Patxi 27 minutes into the match. Dalmo Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tomás Satordi charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Satordi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Satordi to maneuver through the defense. If Wanderson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Patxi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. After 42 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Argider. Melquiades Patxi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Garcia in the 46th minute.

When Narciso Pernambucano fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamboril's protests and gave Narciso Pernambucano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Narciso Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Valdomiro Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL PEPO FC's Melquiades Patxi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Wanderson Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65th play minutes Valdomiro Garcia shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Melquiades Patxi and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edgard Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL PEPO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Herauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Quadros to maneuver through the defense. EL PEPO FC's Rafael Clodio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tamboril. In the 74th minute, Valdomiro Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tamboril fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 78th minute Wanderson Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamboril were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after EL PEPO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Vítor Lara took the corner. In the 87th match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Clodio came free, but Dalmo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Tomás Satordi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomás Satordi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 95 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Satordi. Wanderson Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Patxi having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tamboril fully deserved thier win.
