EL PEPO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafael Clodio in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on EL PEPO FC's corner Rafael Clodio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mustafa Hakan Topel quite easily take care of the ball. Fatih Özsahin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Patxi. Melquiades Patxi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Mehmet Yiğit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarineerS MzC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Yiğit to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes MarineerS MzC got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Özsahin. If Edgard Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Mehmet Yiğit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Patxi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mustafa Hakan Topel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored MarineerS MzC's protests and gave Hüseyin Turan Davutoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MarineerS MzC's Hüseyin Turan Davutoğlu got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Jonny Ambjörnsson fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MarineerS MzC's protests and gave Jonny Ambjörnsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MarineerS MzC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jonny Ambjörnsson hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Herauso. In the 78th minute, Jonny Ambjörnsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Melquiades Patxi, passed just outside the right post. Mehmet Yiğit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, MarineerS MzC's Atilla Tarkan Yalaza got a free kick in the 81st minute. Melquiades Patxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Mehmet Yiğit took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Melquiades Patxi to make any attempt to save it. 94 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Turan Davutoğlu came free, but Melquiades Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EL PEPO FC's Melquiades Patxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save EL PEPO FC from getting a goal against them. MarineerS MzC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
