In the 26th minute Valdomiro Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hakan Topel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Topel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Garcia's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Garcia in the 31st minute of play forced MarineerS MzC's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Topel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Yiğits short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Dalmo Esteves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute, Jonny Ambjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Tamboril got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Quadros. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Dalmo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu in the 50th minute of the match. Mustafa Hakan Topel was a little too slow when Narciso Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Yiğit in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jarbas Quadros's late challenge caught a MarineerS MzC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. Jarbas Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Yiğit came free, but Dalmo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Topel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 62nd minute of the match Jonny Ambjörnsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Wanderson Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Hafız Erdoğdu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Tamboril players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
