Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Satordi in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Eugênio Leme got a free kick in the 5th minute. Geraldo Queiroz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by EL PEPO FC's Edgard Herauso. But to his dismay, Edgard Herauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Joélson Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Patxi was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Geraldo Queiroz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rafael Clodio. 18 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Madureira came free, but Melquiades Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Fabinho Mattos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rockets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dudu Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Patxi having to interfere. A hard shot 31 in the game by Edgard Herauso from a close distance when the talented Geraldo Queiroz managed to make a qualified save. Rockets's players were relieved. Dudu Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Melquiades Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Patxi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Clodio was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tomás Satordi managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL PEPO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Satordi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Melo in the 58th minute of play. Melquiades Patxi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joélson Melo. Celso Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Satordi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geraldo Queiroz having to make a save. Melquiades Patxi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabinho Mattos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Dudu Madureira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Patxi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Melquiades Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Melo in the 91st minute of play. Geraldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rockets players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
