An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Velasco in the 7th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Walmyr Bezerra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Paulo Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amado Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Quinto charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Quinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ariel Estefan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walmyr Bezerra firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 29th match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Roldanillo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Walmyr Bezerra managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Curumalán AFC's Ariel Estefan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Nildo Berger got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Estefan. In the 36th match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Losada to maneuver through the defense. Hernán Losada hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Alan Velasco made the kick off in the second half. Walmyr Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Quinto in the 52nd minute of the match. Alan Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Walmyr Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Quinto in the 57th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicolás Domingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Velasco in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's Justo Roldanillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Bezerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Santo Astrada fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán AFC's protests and gave Santo Astrada a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Santo Astrada got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Alan Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Calesso FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hernani Rossi hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Nicolás Domingo had to leave the field with a concussion. 78 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calesso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curumalán AFC the free kick. Curumalán AFC made a substitution. Victoriano Berriotxoa replaced Nicolás Domingo. Cristian Quinto struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Walmyr Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curumalán AFC. 85 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Losada came free, but Walmyr Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmyr Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Estefan in the 86th minute of the match. Justo Roldanillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Walmyr Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Velasco's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Quinto made a precise shot to the right of Walmyr Bezerra. Calesso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
