The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Aloísio Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Nildo Berger got a free kick in the 6th minute. Aloísio Lopez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmyr Bezerra. Calesso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Aloísio Lopez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Calesso FC's Walmyr Bezerra. Walmyr Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernani Rossi's late challenge caught a Hartmann Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernani Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Hernani Rossi got a free kick in the 17th minute. Aloísio Lopez took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Bezerra. Walmyr Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Aloísio Lopez put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Walmyr Bezerra. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glauco do Nascimento in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorginho Andrade's late challenge caught a Hartmann Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Calesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Andrade. 45 minutes into the game, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Aloísio Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloísio Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paraíba in the 51st minute of play. Murillo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Calesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Salles. Maicon Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmyr Bezerra having to make a save. Walmyr Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Aloísio Lopez sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, one of Hartmann Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hartmann Futebol Clube. The referee gave Calesso FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Paulo Paraíba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Veiga. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Lopez got free with Walmyr Bezerra in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute Hermínio Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmyr Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Aloísio Lopez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Renan de Azevedo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Erasmo Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Hartmann Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Erasmo Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Glauco do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Calesso FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hartmann Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Hartmann Futebol Clube.
