In the 25th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Leme to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Ariel Estefan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Queiroz. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Estefan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Geraldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Luiz Eduardo Pimenta got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

52 minutes into the match, Cristian Quinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Queiroz. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Quinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Cristian Quinto got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Estefan in the 67th minute of play. Ariel Estefan struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Geraldo Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curumalán AFC. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Velasco in the 75th minute of play. Alan Velasco took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geraldo Queiroz. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ariel Estefan fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán AFC's protests and gave Ariel Estefan a yellow card for diving instead. Geraldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Curumalán AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
