Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artemio Iratze started the match with the kick off. Luganeros AFC's attentive Siro Mercurio managed to snatch the ball when Emil Vestberg made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Luganeros AFC from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes Luganeros AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robin Dahlberg who took care of the corner kick. Pontus Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gaspard having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vicente Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Ahlqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Vestberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Artemio Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Luganeros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Iratze couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Gustaf Åström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Gaspard. Luganeros AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaf Åström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Artemio Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute of the game Viktor Alegren made a throw-in which Robin Dahlberg played forward. After 40 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Åström. In the 41st minute of the match Freddy Gartxot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Ahlqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Blåvitt's Herbert Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Iratze in the 44th minute of play. Herbert Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Richie in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Vicente Richie made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Ahlqvist. Blåvitt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Sandwall made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Artemio Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Ahlqvist was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 63 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Emil Vestberg. Alejo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Dahlberg in the 65th minute of play. Herbert Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Dahlberg in the 70th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
