Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Artemio Iratze made the kick off which started today's match. Apolo Geofredo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Sérgio Loureiro missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 6 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alejo Gaspard right hand side. 11 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Gaspard. Luganeros AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Eduardo Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Artemio Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Estavan charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustacio Estavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Luganeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Estavan to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Artemio Iratze notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa. Décio Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artemio Iratze struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Décio Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. Artemio Iratze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Barbosa having to make a save. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Iratze in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Décio Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Artemio Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luganeros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Iratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Eduardo Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Eduardo Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejo Gaspard having to make a save. After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Artemio Iratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Décio Barbosa. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Barbosa should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Artemio Iratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal and Artemio Iratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-5 became the score in the 76th minute when Artemio Iratze elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Iratze in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute Luiz Eduardo Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Iratze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Décio Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Artemio Iratze slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 85th minute. Eustacio Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Décio Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Iratze went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Luganeros AFC played a much better game than Microsoft Team and deserved their victory. The Microsoft Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
