An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Petersson in the 11th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Oldham Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Ryberg. Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Gil in the 12th minute of play. Mattias Pihlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Gil went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Oldham Athletic from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Arman Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Romani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Oldham Athletic's Arman Gregersson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Adrian Pettersson took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Leonardo Romani to make any attempt to save it. Mattias Pihlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leonardo Romani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arman Gregersson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-8 in the 94 minute of play.
