Mariano Canal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Club Deportivo O IRIXO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luganeros AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregorio Harriet in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Club Deportivo O IRIXO getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Macerio Sarro hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejo Gaspard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Artemio Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luganeros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Iratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Artemio Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Artemio Iratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leonardo Romani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Artemio Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Romani was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Vicente Richie got a free kick in the 44th minute. The referee ignored Club Deportivo O IRIXO's protests and gave Macerio Sarro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Club Deportivo O IRIXO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macerio Sarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macerio Sarro made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Indalecio Morcego however managed to control. Leonardo Romani made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Artemio Iratze sent off a good shot on target. Artemio Iratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Romani made a huge save. If Artemio Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Iratze got free with Leonardo Romani in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artemio Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Romani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Romani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Iratze in the 78th minute of the match. In the 89th play minute Artemio Iratze came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonardo Romani. 0-5. After 94 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Harriet.
