Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aquilino James kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Richie could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Hugo Baumer however easily saved by the left post. 7 minutes into the game, Artemio Iratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hugo Baumer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute Godfredo Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Hustaz made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Luganeros AFC's Vicente Richie. Hugo Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Iratze in the 27th minute of play. Hugo Baumer was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Artemio Iratze capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Iratze really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Vicente Richie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Baumer. The goal made the score 3-0. After 39 minutes, Aldo Arlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luganeros AFC and the Sp. Yoniyones players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sp. Yoniyones's Hugo Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Iratze in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Iratze in the 44th minute of play forced Sp. Yoniyones's goalkeeper Hugo Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Iratze made a kick off. Hugo Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Iratze in the 61st minute of the match. Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Godfredo Sasoin 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Alejo Gaspard made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Aquilino James sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Artemio Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Baumer was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sp. Yoniyones getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arnulfo Hustaz hit a great ball. Alejo Gaspard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Sasoin in the 86th minute. Artemio Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luganeros AFC's Amancio Jerrald pulled a muscle in his back after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arnulfo Hustaz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Hustaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Benigno Demesio replaced Amancio Jerrald.
