Elano Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Murillo Toledo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Etxeberri. 11 minutes into the game, Isaltino Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Angel Etxeberri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Vides to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Angelo Ireno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Angel Etxeberri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murillo Toledo's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, FALCÕES VERDES's Leonel Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Etxeberri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Angel Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Toledo in the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Toledo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Etxeberri saved Academia FC from getting behind. Angel Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Toledo in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo Toledo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Etxeberri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Leonel Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Murillo Toledo sped through Academia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angel Etxeberri. In the 38th minute, Atilano Sugoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Murillo Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Kemen during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Academia FC defense, Murillo Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Etxeberri. The Academia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Etxeberri should have stopped the shot.

If Murillo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Atilano Sugoi hit a great ball. Angel Etxeberri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murillo Toledo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Toledo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Etxeberri saved Academia FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Murillo Toledo put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Etxeberri. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Murillo Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Angel Etxeberri to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the game, Murillo Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angel Etxeberri. Murillo Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. 69 minutes into the game, FALCÕES VERDES's Murillo Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Etxeberri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. After 73 minutes, Federico Nicholas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia FC and the FALCÕES VERDES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Academia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Etxeberri made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Clóvis Marinho sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Murillo Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Etxeberri was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Angel Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Castro in the 86th minute of the match. Angel Etxeberri came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FALCÕES VERDES's Elano Senna. But to his dismay, Elano Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-12. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Federico Nicholas hit a great ball. Angel Etxeberri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zézinho Vides. Angel Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Academia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FALCÕES VERDES were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
