Adil Magaud stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iordanis Kopanakis. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Rouland came free, but Iordanis Kopanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adil Magaud hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Hervé Annette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rathmore Lime Tree and the Seahawks V55 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hervé Annette kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolis Kalergis got free with Sofyane Valognes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Seahawks V55's Charis Droumalias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 47th minute Adil Magaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordanis Kopanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Georges Labarthe replaced Paul-Henri Gayraud. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernand Rouland made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Jim Belloir sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Seahawks V55's Iordanis Kopanakis didn't even have to move. When Hervé Annette was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The referee gave Seahawks V55 a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manolis Kalergis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes. 2-1. Giannis Nekos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, Grigoris Papaggelou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Droumalias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoris Papaggelou might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sofyane Valognes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grigoris Papaggelou ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Papaggelou came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Brian Boullet fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Brian Boullet a yellow card for diving instead. Brian Boullet kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Papaggelou in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Grigoris Papaggelou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seahawks V55's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoris Papaggelou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seahawks V55 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
