Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Romão Bandeira got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Nereo Kemen got a free kick in the 5th minute. Dewa Cinta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Kemen in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes FCPorto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Constantino Rodriguez who took care of the corner kick. Constantino Rodriguez made a great header on Academia FC's corner, it was just that FCPorto's Dewa Cinta managed to reach the ball for a save. After 10 played minutes FCPorto got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Costa. If Angelo Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dewa Cinta came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia FC's Nereo Kemen. But to his dismay, Nereo Kemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Nereo Kemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dewa Cinta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FCPorto's Dewa Cinta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Ireno in the 28th minute of play. When Romão Bandeira fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCPorto's protests and gave Romão Bandeira a yellow card for diving instead. When Nereo Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Academia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Kemen couldn't finish the play. Academia FC's Jorge Martxot got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Ireno to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Liberato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Orland having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Venancio Maxin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCPorto the free kick. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Venancio Maxin hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Martxot was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes, Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dewa Cinta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Academia FC reached it. After 62 played minutes FCPorto got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Sales. In the 64th play minute Nereo Kemen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dewa Cinta. 0-3. The supporters of Academia FC booed when FCPorto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Sales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 74th minute, but Dewa Cinta got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FCPorto hanging dry this time. If Nereo Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Constantino Rodriguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Nereo Kemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Dewa Cinta made a huge save. After 81 minutes FCPorto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Constantino Rodriguez who took care of the corner kick. Nereo Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dewa Cinta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Martxot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Dewa Cinta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Costa to maneuver through the defense.
