The tension between the FCPorto and the OTTO FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Dudu Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dewa Cinta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Vergílio went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half OTTO FC - FSCMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When Luisinho Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Brodel couldn't finish the play. Dewa Cinta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, FCPorto's Dewa Cinta got control of the ball when Dudu Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damião Lisboa's late challenge caught a OTTO FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damião Lisboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damião Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Dudu Rossi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dewa Cinta, 0-5. Allan Pernambucano hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. FCPorto's Dewa Cinta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco de Lima in the 94th minute of play. The FCPorto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. OTTO FC - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
