In the 6th minute, Demetrio Mazzocchetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikolaj Resel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mikolaj Resel came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by GiaSiRo 08's Edmondo Bevilacqua. But to his dismay, Edmondo Bevilacqua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Mikolaj Resel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Mazzocchetti in the 16th minute of play. Mikolaj Resel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Lucjan Dropinski came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Dropinski couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Armando Gargano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Resel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Armando Gargano sped through RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mikolaj Resel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Gargano in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Resel saved RW AHLEN-KNURÓW from getting behind. Demetrio Mazzocchetti scored 0-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikolaj Resel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mikolaj Resel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Gargano in the 40th minute of the match. Mikolaj Resel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmondo Bevilacqua went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Gargano in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Resel saved RW AHLEN-KNURÓW from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Jakisz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Jiang Liang took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Mikolaj Resel to make any attempt to save it. Edmondo Bevilacqua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Resel having to interfere. GiaSiRo 08's Federico Pietrini was substituted for Fabio Costacurta. After 58 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Bondel. Igor Brytan's late challenge caught a GiaSiRo 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Brytan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GiaSiRo 08 booed when RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Brytan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiang Liang was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, GiaSiRo 08's Mikolaj Resel threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francesco Cabrini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th minute, Demetrio Mazzocchetti made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Resel. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Demetrio Mazzocchetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Mikolaj Resel made a huge save. After 73 minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jiang Liang who took care of the corner kick. Edmondo Bevilacqua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Mazzocchetti got free with Mikolaj Resel in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
