With a little luck, GiaSiRo 08's Fabiano Ciraci got control of the ball when Adilson Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Demetrio Mazzocchetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Comanche EC's João Pedro Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miroslaw Lizewski's late challenge caught a GiaSiRo 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Comanche EC defense, Francesco Cabrini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Soeiro. The Comanche EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Soeiro should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Comanche EC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Mazzocchetti came free, but João Pedro Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Mazzocchetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Armando Gargano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmondo Bevilacqua hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. With his leg João Pedro Soeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when GiaSiRo 08's Demetrio Mazzocchetti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
