The INCONA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Eneas came free, but Lucio Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Erruki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 29th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Florida Gulf Coast's Nestor Inko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Bautista. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Jerico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Bautista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Ciceron to make the kick off. Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Ciceron in the 55th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mateo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 62 minutes, Paulo Cresencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INCONA FC and the Florida Gulf Coast players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76thth minute of the game Mateo Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Florida Gulf Coast's zone, Mateo Ciceron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Geofredo came out of the goal and Mateo Ciceron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Enrique Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavril Kulin kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Nestor Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, INCONA FC's Federico Eneas made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Geofredo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
