Talcampeón FC were furious when Alonso Pascal was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jorge Elorri's late challenge caught a Talcampeón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Elorri helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Elorri. Cecilio Uxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 30th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Talcampeón FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
