Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael de Carvalho having to make a save. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Rafinha Gonçalves got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jorge Elorri took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 28th minute Angelo Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen sped through S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. Thanks to some nice moves Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Ismael de Carvalho however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Romildo in the 36th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael de Carvalho could save by the left post. In the 44th play minute Lucjan Lamczyk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reginaldo Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Alagoano to maneuver through the defense.
