In the 11th minute, Desiderio Perutxo made a precise shot to the right of Gustave Lechat. R.C. Marseille's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nalo Carballeira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, R.C. Bart Vetter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Joey Molina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulo Teinturiers short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Joey Molina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Joey Molina guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Desiderio Perutxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustave Lechat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Joey Molina didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when R.C. Marseille's Bart Vetter shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When Desiderio Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Orihuela Club de Fútbol's zone, Paulo Teinturier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Molina came out of the goal and Paulo Teinturier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Orihuela Club de Fútbol defense, Paulo Teinturier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey Molina. The Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Molina should have stopped the shot.
