In the 13th minute, Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Edvard Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Willian Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Cearense. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Edvard Bergren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Loyola. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Loyola should have stopped the shot. Einar Jernberg was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Wanderson Mello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The Morro Grande E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hisingen IK were winning 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliot Högman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Edvard Bergren took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Willian Loyola to make any attempt to save it. Hisingen IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
