After taking down the ball on ERGOTELIS's corner Pavlos Kastanopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ateş Rahim quite easily take care of the ball. Giorgos Tsagaropoulos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ERGOTELIS's zone, Armağan Karabulut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panos Drambas came out of the goal and Armağan Karabulut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Albérico Cortez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Panos Drambas. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for STARS TEAM. Armağan Karabulut stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Panos Drambas. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

STARS TEAM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
