If Desiderio Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Elliot Högman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hisingen IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Högman came free, but Joey Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elliot Högman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Molina was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Elliot Högman put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joey Molina. 33 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Perutxo came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Hisingen IK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Hisingen IK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jarl Stålman hit a great ball. When Manuel Ramis came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Ramis couldn't finish the play. Einar Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Perutxo in the 57th minute of play. Einar Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ramis in the 59th minute of the match. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Desiderio Perutxo in the 62nd minute. Desiderio Perutxo made a great header on Orihuela Club de Fútbol's corner, it was just that Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute, Jörn Fagrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joey Molina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Desiderio Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Einar Jernberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 91st minute Desiderio Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Högman in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hisingen IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
