Marseille's Gustave Lechat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armağan Karabulut in the 43rd minute of play. William Lepreux charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Lepreux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. William Lepreux hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Albérico Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STARS TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albérico Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Armağan Karabulut made the kick off in the second half. Armağan Karabulut made a great header on STARS TEAM's corner, it was just that R.C. The audience was convinced that Gürel Çelikhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustave Lechat was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
