Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Reis in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustave Lechat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Chausson's late challenge caught a ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Chausson helped the player get up and apologised. William Chausson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Manfredo Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doni Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Vetter went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfredo Reis made a kick off. Gonçalo Siqueira hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Paulo Teinturier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Meirelles having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Paulo Teinturier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Teinturier in the 63rd minute of play forced ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Doni Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sofiane Candau was slow to take the kick. During this time R.C. Marseille's players had a chance to rest. 66 minutes into the match, Paulo Teinturier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Meirelles. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Claudinho Munhoz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Fellipe Alves got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes, R.C. Marseille's Sofiane Candau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doni Meirelles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in R.C. Marseille reached it. 74 minutes into the match, Bart Vetter notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Doni Meirelles. Doni Meirelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Teinturier struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Doni Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C. Marseille. Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Doni Meirelles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Bart Vetter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.C. Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Doni Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Teinturier, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Doni Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Vetter in the 91st minute of play. Luka Le Tiec took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Meirelles. Doni Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. R.C. Marseille had played much better football throughout.
