The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Albérico Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the STARS TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albérico Cortez couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when STARS TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burç Boztepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Luisinho Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morro Grande E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARS TEAM the free kick. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Luisinho Silva got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Wanderson Mello hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Özgür Canatan made a precise shot to the right of Clóvis Motta. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Armağan Karabulut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 35 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Trevisan. Albérico Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Clóvis Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, STARS TEAM's Albérico Cortez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clóvis Motta. Clóvis Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Armağan Karabulut in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clóvis Motta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 56 minutes, Armağan Karabulut made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. STARS TEAM's attack was well implemented in the 67th minute, but when Armağan Karabulut was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Özgür Canatan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Clóvis Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reynaldo Tepedino was slow to take the kick. During this time Morro Grande E.C's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Reynaldo Tepedino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ateş Rahim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the match, Albérico Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Motta. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albérico Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Armağan Karabulut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clóvis Motta. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clóvis Motta should have stopped the shot. Armağan Karabulut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Clóvis Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armağan Karabulut came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Clóvis Motta could save by the left post. STARS TEAM played a much better game than Morro Grande E.C and deserved their victory. The Morro Grande E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
