Edorta Quintas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Roch Brodzki made a huge save. Izaltina FAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Paulista in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Paulista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roch Brodzki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edorta Quintas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roch Brodzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Edorta Quintas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Rony de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes Izaltina FAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomil Murdza who took care of the corner kick. Izaltina FAD were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after KKS Lech Poznań's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Paulista took the corner. Izaltina FAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roch Brodzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, KKS Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Pazura to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Peres was the one to do the kick off. The Izaltina FAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Roch Brodzki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Jaime Cabral replaced Ricardinho Arantes.
