Pitin Baños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Piacente, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Della Torre. Anfilogino Benvenuto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pitin Baños having to interfere. In the last second Pitin Baños throw himself and got hold of the ball when Arrigo Sebastiani in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Cherubini in the 21st minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Pitin Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Cherubini came free, but Pitin Baños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfilogino Benvenuto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Pitin Baños made a huge save. There was no doubt that Farafulla FC were the better team. Farafulla FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
