Paolo Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes in the game, Elpidio Efraim fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paolo Abastas having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Efraim got free with Paolo Abastas in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CF JABATOS's Elpidio Efraim got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Rami in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Karmel saved CF JABATOS from getting behind. Gaston Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. CF JABATOS's Guido Karmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Jakobe in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Jakobe in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Karmel saved CF JABATOS from getting behind. Quebracho FC's Aurelio Gaxan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Rami in the 40th minute of play forced CF JABATOS's goalkeeper Guido Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Abastas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Txeru in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Efraim to make the kick off. CF JABATOS's Guido Karmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save CF JABATOS from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Filiberto Ponc could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Guido Karmel however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, CF JABATOS's Delmiro Izotz got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Rigoberto Jakobe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Karmel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Txeru scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Rami in the 62nd minute of play forced CF JABATOS's goalkeeper Guido Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Rami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Karmel having to interfere. Aurelio Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Apolo Medardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebracho FC and the CF JABATOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Quebracho FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Medardo. Elpidio Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. When Ivan Rami came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Quebracho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Rami couldn't finish the play. Paolo Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Malvin in the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Efraim in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
