An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Saşca in the 19th minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Melvin Passemard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Zamfir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salomon Bordet in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as corsaire nantais's Brian Seguela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nistor Zamfir. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. After 75 minutes, Éluard Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the corsaire nantais and the AFC Nirosxn 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC Nirosxn 08 booed when corsaire nantais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Éluard Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of AFC Nirosxn 08's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AFC Nirosxn 08 may have spent more time on the ball, but corsaire nantais were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
