SILMONT's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurent Rouille was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melvin Passemard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Di Xing Ying made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Seguela in the 17th minute of play. Di Xing Ying showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Bordet, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Pétiot in the 29th minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Melvin Passemard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Di Xing Ying took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Seguela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nolan Pétiot in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melvin Passemard saved corsaire nantais from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Seguela in the 37th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Di Xing Ying to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nolan Pétiot in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melvin Passemard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Di Xing Ying took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Brot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Laurent Rouille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Passemard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Seguela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes SILMONT got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Albaret. In the 54th minute Nolan Pétiot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Passemard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, corsaire nantais's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Pétiot came free, but Melvin Passemard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terry Grangeon's late challenge caught a SILMONT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Grangeon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, corsaire nantais's Terry Grangeon got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Salomon Bordet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. corsaire nantais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SILMONT the free kick. A collision led to corsaire nantais getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Salomon Bordet hit a great ball. Melvin Passemard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Albaret in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Terry Grangeon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nolan Pétiot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Éluard Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes of play, SILMONT's Nolan Pétiot made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melvin Passemard was left in no man's land by his defense there! SILMONT's Di Xing Ying played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Seguela in the 81st minute of play. After 84 played minutes SILMONT got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Schmidt. Di Xing Ying showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Brot in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, corsaire nantais's Francis Brot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Di Xing Ying. Di Xing Ying yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SILMONT fully deserved thier win.
