Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Urrutia Iruretagoyena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Salcines made a kick off. Zoil Frenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Fiúza in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Esterilla Nembro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SILMONT's Di Xing Ying played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Salcines in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nolan Pétiot managed to get in a good position for a shot. SILMONT's supporters rose to their feet, but Nolan Pétiot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoil Frenes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
