The referee showed Korkut Dirican the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wargön's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Wargön getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Roger Lundin hit a great ball. The supporters of Wargön booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismail Ceceli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Roger Mager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilla Tarkan Enfal. Atilla Tarkan Enfal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
