The supporters of Escuadrón Mercenario booed when PLURAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Perdigão in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, PLURAL's Pang Xun Chen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Escuadrón Mercenario's Diego Armando Goetschi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Josué Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gentil Perdigão's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Pang Xun Chen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josué Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Escuadrón Mercenario getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Heli Abar hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gentil Perdigão was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Perdigão in the 52nd minute of play forced Escuadrón Mercenario's goalkeeper Josué Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gentil Perdigão in the 54th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gombal Aballe couldn't finish the play. Pang Xun Chen charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pang Xun Chen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Escuadrón Mercenario booed when PLURAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pang Xun Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pang Xun Chen in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gombal Aballe in the 96th minute of play forced PLURAL's goalkeeper Caio Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over PLURAL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Escuadrón Mercenario throughout the match.
