PLURAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escuadrón Mercenario the free kick. In the 16th minute, Benedito Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sarracino Abad in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Coutinho saved PLURAL from getting behind. Caio Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarracino Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iztal Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sarracino Abad in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Coutinho saved PLURAL from getting behind. Josué Castro was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Pang Xun Chen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pang Xun Chen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Escuadrón Mercenario's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Gentil Perdigão scored to the left of an out of position Josué Castro, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to PLURAL getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Benedito Caetano hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Pang Xun Chen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Castro was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
