Union Madereros booed when Escuadrón Mercenario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Indalecio Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Iztal Aballe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Swain was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Diego Armando Goetschi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Ovidio Karmel fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Union Madereros's protests and gave Ovidio Karmel a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Sarracino Abad came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Gumaro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Club Dep. Union Madereros's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Escuadrón Mercenario's Josué Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Colas in the 30th minute of play. Cornelio Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iztal Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Iztal Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Colas came free, but Josué Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
