Ahmet Hayri Ülkem didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pinho in the 6th minute of play forced Samsunspor's goalkeeper Atilla Tarkan Enfal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Pinho in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilla Tarkan Enfal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Güral Vecih was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agua Santa the free kick. In the 12th minute, Agua Santa's Cipriano Pinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atilla Tarkan Enfal. Atilla Tarkan Enfal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Murilo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulaş Alan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Agua Santa's Lúcio Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Viana. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Hayri Ülkem made a kick off. Cipriano Pinho took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilla Tarkan Enfal. Atilla Tarkan Enfal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Agua Santa's Olavo Vianna was substituted for Emanuel Vianna. Samsunspor's Atilla Tarkan Enfal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pinho in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by İnanç Tekindağ. Atilla Tarkan Enfal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pinho's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Pedro Luís Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ismail Ceceli hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Ulaş Alan. Ulaş Alan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulaş Alan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulaş Alan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Atilla Tarkan Enfal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Atilla Tarkan Enfal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Viana in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Nico Quintal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Cipriano Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Tarkan Enfal came out of the goal and Cipriano Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samsunspor's Atilla Tarkan Enfal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Vianna in the 93rd minute of play. Cipriano Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Tarkan Enfal having to interfere. Agua Santa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
