Ruy Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute Gentil Perdigão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gentil Perdigão managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLURAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Gentil Perdigão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ruy Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pang Xun Chen in the 16th minute of play. PLURAL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pang Xun Chen in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Gentil Perdigão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Sarmento was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After having played for 25 minutes, Gentil Perdigão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLURAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gentil Perdigão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gentil Perdigão sped through Marzagão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruy Sarmento. Pang Xun Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Sarmento having to interfere. César Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, César Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gentil Perdigão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pang Xun Chen in the 36th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Ruy Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Mar to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Pang Xun Chen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ruy Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gentil Perdigão came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the PLURAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gentil Perdigão couldn't finish the play. The Marzagão players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PLURAL were winning 0-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Gentil Perdigão made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes of play, PLURAL's Pang Xun Chen made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Pang Xun Chen took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Ruy Sarmento to make any attempt to save it. César Rosa got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 62 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by César Rosa. Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goalkeeper Ruy Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gentil Perdigão. In the 65thth minute of the game Gentil Perdigão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gentil Perdigão took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Sarmento. Ruy Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. PLURAL's Gentil Perdigão got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pang Xun Chen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, PLURAL's Gentil Perdigão got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Gentil Perdigão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruy Sarmento. The goal made the score 0-9. After 86 minutes, Gentil Perdigão made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes PLURAL got a freekick which was hit by Gentil Perdigão. Gentil Perdigão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over PLURAL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marzagão throughout the match.
