After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Acácio Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C.PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Fidencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Silvio Guillen in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by S.C.PAULISTA's Moisés Godoi. Acácio Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Dominix came free, but Flávio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Fidencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's zone, Acácio Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Fidencio came out of the goal and Acácio Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th play minute Acácio Alves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Octavio Fidencio. 2-0. In the 39th minute, Tobias Dominix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's goalkeeper Octavio Fidencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's Honorio Abechuco got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Abechuco made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Alves came free, but Octavio Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's Daniel Gerazan got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Cláudio Leite came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the S.C.PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Leite couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL defense, Fernando Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Fidencio. The C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Fidencio should have stopped the shot. Acácio Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Ibañez charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Ibañez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Feliciano Ibañez hit a great ball. If Acácio Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Frank Leão fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.PAULISTA's protests and gave Frank Leão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.C.PAULISTA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
