In the 7th minute of the match Freddie Söderlund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Fantini skillfully saved the ball. Kim Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Flávio Fantini made a huge save. Flávio Fantini came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Kind of Blue's Kim Samuelsson. But to his dismay, Kim Samuelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leite to maneuver through the defense. Kim Samuelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Flávio Fantini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Pedro Duarte hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kim Samuelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flávio Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Kim Samuelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute Fredric Botvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was Freddie Söderlund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Freddie Söderlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flávio Fantini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jens-Ove Käcker's late challenge caught a S.C.PAULISTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ove Käcker helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Käcker. Timmy Hammarström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flávio Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Timmy Hammarström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save S.C.PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. Kim Samuelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Flávio Fantini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Prado made a kick off. Kind of Blue's Stormur Muren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Kim Samuelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Fantini was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Flávio Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Samuelsson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Kim Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Kim Samuelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Fernando Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Samuelsson in the 67th minute of play. The Kind of Blue fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Kind of Blue's Kim Samuelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Acácio Alves's late challenge caught a Kind of Blue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Alves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Samuelsson in the 77th minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Flávio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flávio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Botvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Samuelsson scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Ove Käcker made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fredric Botvidsson immediately put the ball in play. When the referee ended the match the Kind of Blue players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
