Linus Todal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brage Vetrhus in the 2nd minute of play. Kjell Bergum hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Martin Holmefjord hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Asmund Sjøberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Petter Frigstad in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brage Vetrhus in the 10th minute of play forced Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Linus Todal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asmund Sjøberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Petter Frigstad in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of The Nerd Herd booed when Rakkestad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bendik Solvang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Brage Vetrhus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Brage Vetrhus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Linus Todal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Asmund Sjøberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Klepp in the 26th minute. Linus Todal came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Nerd Herd's Brage Vetrhus. But to his dismay, Brage Vetrhus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th minute, Ole-Petter Nistad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bendik Solvang hit a great ball. Linus Todal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brage Vetrhus in the 41st minute of the match. Roy Nymoen charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Nymoen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Roy Nymoen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brage Vetrhus took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Linus Todal. Linus Todal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of The Nerd Herd booed when Rakkestad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Nymoen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Otto Klepp made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hans-Petter Frigstad hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rakkestad IF's zone, Geir-Inge Torstensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Todal came out of the goal and Geir-Inge Torstensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Brage Vetrhus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Linus Todal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Linus Todal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brage Vetrhus in the 64th minute of play. Asmund Sjøberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Klepp in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Bård Kjærvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linus Todal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brage Vetrhus in the 73rd minute of play. Linus Todal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brage Vetrhus went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Asmund Sjøberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Ramberg in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Petter Frigstad in the 86th minute of play forced The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Asmund Sjøberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Brage Vetrhus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, The Nerd Herd's Brage Vetrhus made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Todal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rakkestad IF's Linus Todal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Rakkestad IF from getting a goal against them. Linus Todal made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Brage Vetrhus sent off a good shot on target. The Rakkestad IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Nerd Herd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
