The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Joey Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurendi Varandalla to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, Simon Reed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Bohlin came out of the goal and Simon Reed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Parker Lyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Bohlin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After having played for 18 minutes, Adrian Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Brander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kent Choi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, Parker Lyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Bohlin came out of the goal and Parker Lyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Choi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jens Bohlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Bohlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Lyle in the 29th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Parker Lyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köping's Jens Bohlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Brander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Brent Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, DeMarcus Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Bohlin came out of the goal and DeMarcus Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Lidström to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, DeMarcus Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köping the free kick. In the 53rd minute, DeMarcus Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Weston Burnham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ defense, Alex Lidström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brent Walton. The ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brent Walton should have stopped the shot. Elliott Bredberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Köping booed when ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daren Farrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Parker Lyle hit a great ball. Weston Burnham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Bohlin having to interfere. Alex Lidström charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Lidström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Alex Lidström. Daren Farrell hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Köping.
