After having played for 53 minutes, Alex Lidström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Lidström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Fredrik Abelsson fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köping's protests and gave Fredrik Abelsson a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brage Vetrhus got free with Jens Bohlin in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Brage Vetrhus took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jens Bohlin to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Brage Vetrhus hit a great ball. Jens Bohlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bård Kjærvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Nerd Herd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
