When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luiz Nascimento sped through INTERNACIONAL DE MURAROA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Roano. Rodolfo Roano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Quadros's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience held their breath when Jacinto Freitas in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rodolfo Roano's left hand side.
